How Can severe Foot Pain Be Treated?
I have pain on the bottom of my right foot on the padded section at the base of my second toe (almost midway between my second and third toe). I do step aerobics and play singles tennis and run. It feels painful when I push off the ball of my foot to run or step up on the platform. The pain began after a weekend of downhill skiing.

It would be worthwhile to do Serum 25(OH) Vit D and serum calcium level. To rule out March/Stress fracture (downhill skiing) involving distal third of one of the metatarsals (2nd or 3rd), do X-ray right foot AP & lateral View.
